NHTI's Business & Training Center - Concord's Treasure Trove of Learning Opportunities!
Beyond degree and certificate programs, NHTI, Concord's Community College hosts a treasure trove of learning opportunities for everyone. This hidden gem, the Workforce Development Center (an often overlooked entity) is committed to working with businesses, schools and organizations to help their most valuable resource, their employees, enhance current skills or acquire new ones to help cultivate a strong workforce. Perhaps you are someone who needs to brush up on skills to get a job, attain a promotion or broaden your knowledge, NHTI offers numerous ways in which to do so.
Through a robust training schedule the Business Training Center offers non-credit workshops and seminars in computer applications including Microsoft and Google, workplace communications, industry and manufacturing, leadership and supervisory skills, and employee development and business skills. NHTI helps job seekers and career builders improve their skills and ready themselves for entering the workforce or for a career change.
MicroCredentials - Earn a Microcredential Certificate in Essential Professional Skills!
The NHTI microcredential represents a commitment to building and applying skills in a professional setting to improve processes, relationships and outcomes. Better than a “bootcamp,” our microcredential course topics feature collaborative exploration and discussion activities. You’ll learn to apply, understand, and reflect on learning principles over time to develop mastery.Individuals or groups can enroll in a microcredential course that is offered periodically throughout the year or organizations can schedule their own private 'cohort' with 10 or more delegates. In 2020-21 we provided training to individuals as well as cohorts from local business and industry including Associated Grocers of New England, NH State Liquor Commission, Age at Home, NNERN and Delta Dental. New! Excel 101 & 102 ONLINE with Microsoft Certified Trainer, Tom Fragale
The COVID pandemic brought our on campus computer training to a screeching halt and over time legitimized the value, convenience and effectiveness of online learning! NHTI announced NEW Excel training for Spring 2021 which will be be offered each term with plans to add Microsoft Office Productivity Bootcamp and a future microcredential combining Excel with Microsoft Power Bi. Instructors/mentors are actively involved in your online learning experience, responding to any questions or concerns, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.

Edu Professional Development
We offer open enrollment for Google Certified Educator Level 1 & 2, Google Pro Microcredential and our Virtual Learning Summit - with remote teaching strategies for all educators. We will continue to expand our teacher professional development and training. We specialize in 'customized' training for schools and districts by bringing the right trainers and topics at designated times.
